Another fan art, this time it's V for Vendetta's main character, appropiately named "V". This Graphic novel was created by Alan Moore and David Lloyd and was recently taken to the big screen with mixed reviews. I made the model mixing elements from the comic and the movie and some of my own inspiration too. It's a reproduction of an original panel from the novel, book 2 chapter 1 "The Vanishing" The caption is the original ballon from the panel, scanned and pasted in the composition

The cloak and the shirt below the belt are done using cloth simulation. Tthe image was rendered in layers using Mental Ray for the cloak, mask and body, while the wig was rendered using a regular software render and later composed with the other layers in Photoshop. The background is a simple image created in photoshop and used as image plane for the main camera.
